WEYMOUTH, Mass. (May 24, 2023) -- A new season of Futures League baseball is here.
The league's 13th summer kicks off with a full four-game slate on Wednesday, including a pair of 10:30 a.m. games. The morning dates feature the Worcester Bravehearts hosting the Norwich Sea Unicorns and the New Britain Bees heading north to face the Westfield Starfires.
The season-opening action continues with the other two games at 6:35 p.m., where the defending champion Nashua Silver Knights travel to the Pittsfield Suns and the Vermont Lake Monsters entertaining the Brockton Rox.
New Britain and Brockton host their respective home openers on Thursday, May 25, while Nashua returns to Holman Stadium for the first time since an epic 2022 Championship Series on Saturday night. Norwich plays in front of its home fans for the first time on the night of Memorial Day next Monday.
