Pittsfield 10, Westfield 4

The Pittsfield Suns scored in every inning except for two as they go on to defeat the Westfield Starfires by a score of 10-4. Matt Malcom led the hot Suns offense going 3 for 4 with a run scored and two RBIs. There were three other Suns hitters with multiple RBIs as well. Tommy Quinn led the way for the Westfield offense going 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI.

Logan Bravo shined for the Navigators going 2 for 3 with two runs scored and three RBIs as teammate Colin Macko had four RBIs in a 1 for 4 performance. J.P. Knight stood out in the Brockton lineup going 3 for 4 with two runs scored.

Kasey Bass had a good day at the plate for the Blues going 2 for 3 with a run scored and three RBIs. Ben Irvine led the Silver Knights with a 2 for 5 performance with a run scored and two RBIs.

After staying tied at 6 after 10 innings, the Worcester Bravehearts beat the Brockton Rox in a home run derby to win the game 7-6. Paul Coumoulos exploded for 15 home runs in the first round of the derby which secured the win for his Bravehearts squad. Joseph Pesce led the Bravehearts offense going 3 for 5 with two RBIs. Eddy Hart had a productive day at the plate for the Rox going 2 for 4 with a run scored and two RBIs.

Kade Kretzschmar led the way for the North Shore offense going 2 for 4 with a run scored and two RBIs.

Gabe Giosso led the Rox offense going 2 for 4 with a run scored and two RBIs. Tyler Becker led the way for the Worcester offense going 1 for 3 with two RBIs.

Ben Irvine led the Nashua offense as the only player with multiple hits going 2 for 2 with a run scored.

The North Shore Navigators outscored the Pittsfield Suns by a score of 5-2 on Thursday night. Kade Kretzschmar led the North Shore offense going 3 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI. Pittsfield’s Jack Khawly was the bright spot for their lineup going 2 for 3 with a run scored and two RBIs.

Dylan Jones found a lot of success at the plate for Nashua going 2 for 3 with a run scored and four RBIs. Chris Rinaldi had three of Worcester’s five hits as a team to lead the offense going 3 for 4 with a run scored and two RBIs.

The Brockton Rox won a pitcher’s duel Friday night as they scored two and held the Westfield Starfires to just four hits and one run to defeat them 2-1. Eddy Hart led the Brocton offense going 2 for 3 with two RBIs. Danny Crossen had half of Westfield’s hits going 2 for 5 to highlight the Starfires offense.

The Worcester Bravehearts found success all around on Saturday night as they scored 13 runs and held the Brockton Rox to just two hits and one run on their way to a double header sweep. Mariano Ricciardi had another great game at the plate for Worcester going 3 for 4 with three runs scored and two RBIs. Jack Gardner also had a productive day at the plate for the Bravehearts going 2 for 4 with a run scored and three RBIs. Evan Sleight was the only bright spot in the struggling Brockton lineup going 1 for 2 with a solo home run.

Jackson Petersen was one of the only bright spots for Pittsfield’s offense going 1 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI.

The Nashua Silver Knights took game 1 of a double header with the Pittsfield Suns by a score of 8-2. Barry Walsh led the Nashua lineup going 2 for 3 with a run scored and four RBIs. Connor Berry went 1 for 2 with an RBI for the struggling Pittsfield lineup that only had three hits in the game.

Sean Lawlor hit four home runs I the derby while Bristol did not hit any during their round. Andrew Olszak shined in the lineup for North Shore going 3 for 5 with a run scored and two RBIs. Christian Beal stood out in Bristol’s lineup going 3 for 5 with a run scored and an RBI.
