All-Star Game Broadcast Highlights Futures League’s Return to NESN in 2025

ROCKLAND, Mass. (July 8, 2025) — For the fifth time in its history, the Futures League is excited to announce the return of live game broadcasts on New England Sports Network (NESN) in July and August this season.

The NESN schedule consists of three regular-season games in evening time slots, as well as the first-ever linear broadcast of the Futures League All-Star Game, which is set to be played on Tuesday, July 22 at Polar Park in Worcester, the home of the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox. First pitch will be at 7:30 p.m.

“We are thrilled to return to the NESN airwaves later this summer and for the opportunity for our student-athletes to be showcased on the most prominent sports network in New England,” Futures League Commissioner Joe Paolucci said. “NESN has been a great partner for many years, and broadcasting the All-Star Game live is an exciting addition that will only add to the experience in our milestone 15th anniversary season.”

Making its return to the television home of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins, the Futures League will first be showcased on Thursday, July 17 when the All-Star host Worcester Bravehearts welcome the Nashua Silver Knights to Fitton Field for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch on NESN.

The following week will feature a double dose of league action on the popular regional sports network. Two days after the All-Star Game, Nashua plays host to the Vermont Lake Monsters in another televised game on Thursday, July 24 at 6 p.m.

A Connecticut battle between the New Britain Bees and Norwich Sea Unicorns is on tap for the final NESN game of the summer, with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 7.

The partnership between the Futures League and NESN began with a three-game slate in 2020 when no other league in the northeastern United States completed its season at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic. NESN also aired a slate of regular-season games in the three following summers.

The Futures League’s broadcasts on NESN are produced by Pack Network.

Celebrating the 15th anniversary of its inaugural season in 2011, the Futures League is a wood-bat league featuring top collegiate baseball talent from New England and throughout the country, including players from major Division 1 conferences. The league plays in professional-style stadium venues, including the 2021 expansion to former affiliated minor league locations in Burlington Vt., and Norwich, Conn. More than three million fans have attended league games since its inception. On the field, nearly 300 alumni have been drafted by or signed with Major League Baseball organizations and 27 have advanced all the way to “The Show.”
