NESN to Air Four Futures League Games in 2026
Slate of regional TV games begins June 18 at Nashua
ROCKLAND, Mass. — The Futures League will be featured on New England Sports Network (NESN) for the sixth time in its history, with four regular-season games set to be broadcast live during the summer of 2026.
"We're excited to bring Futures League baseball to fans throughout New England with a series of NESN broadcasts again this summer," Futures League Commissioner Joe Paolucci said. "NESN has been an outstanding partner, helping showcase the tremendous talent, competition and community impact that define the Futures League. These broadcasts provide great visibility for our league while giving fans an even closer connection to the future stars of the game."
The Futures League makes its return to the television home of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins on Thursday, June 18. The Nashua Silver Knights host the Futures League's newest franchise, the Lowell Spinners, for a 6:03 p.m. first pitch at Historic Holman Stadium.
The remaining three games will take place in July, including the first-ever NESN broadcast of the Westfield Starfires' home game at Dunkin' Park in Hartford, Conn., where the Vermont Lake Monsters will provide the opposition for an 11:05 a.m. matinee contest on Wednesday, July 15.
Fitton Field in Worcester will be the site of a Thursday, July 16 broadcast, as the Bravehearts welcome the Westfield Starfires at 6:30 p.m. One week later, on Thursday, July 23, Lowell's LeLacheur Park hosts NESN for the first time in its Futures League history, as the Spinners and Vermont Lake Monsters face off in a matchup of former affiliated New York-Penn League rivals.
The partnership between the Futures League and NESN began with a three-game slate in 2020 when no other league in the northeastern United States completed its season at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic. NESN also aired a series of regular-season games in the three following summers, while last summer's schedule featured an All-Star Game broadcast from Polar Park in Worcester.
The Futures League's broadcasts on NESN are produced by Pack Network.
Please note that games may begin on NESN+ if Red Sox coverage has not concluded.
