Industry-leading technology arrives for 2026 season
ROCKLAND, Mass. 一 On the eve of Opening Day, the Futures League is thrilled to announce a new partnership with TrackMan Baseball, bringing industry-leading ball-tracking and performance analytics technology to the league and its seven member organizations in time for the 2026 season.
Through the partnership, TrackMan's cutting-edge technology will be integrated across the Futures League to provide advanced data and analytics for players, coaches, scouts and fans. The collaboration reinforces the league's ongoing commitment to player development and innovation while enhancing the overall collegiate summer baseball experience.
TrackMan Baseball delivers precise pitching, hitting and defensive tracking metrics to clients at both the professional and amateur levels. By implementing TrackMan's systems at each Futures League ballpark, teams will gain access to professional-grade insights designed to help elevate player performance and support advancement opportunities at the collegiate and professional levels.
"We are excited to partner with TrackMan and provide our players and coaches with access to one of the most trusted technologies in the game," Futures League Commissioner Joe Paolucci said. "This partnership represents another major step in our mission to create a first-class developmental environment while increasing exposure opportunities for our athletes."
The addition of TrackMan technology will allow Futures League teams to capture advanced statistics such as pitch velocity, spin rate, launch angle and exit velocity. The data will also provide professional scouts and college recruiters with deeper evaluation tools throughout the summer season.
Futures League fans will also get a glimpse of what the state-of-the-art technology offers during the season, as the top-performing players in several of the aforementioned categories will be featured in posts on the league's social media channels each week.
"The Futures League becoming the 12th collegiate summer league to partner with Trackman is an exciting milestone for both organizations," said Morty Bouchard, Senior Manager, Pro Baseball & Data Production at TrackMan. "Together, we're expanding access to industry-leading technology and data that help players, coaches, and teams develop and compete at the highest level."
